The industrial revolution began around 1900. As nuclear families began to move away to larger cities for work, one of the major consequences was some loss of thecentrality of the extended family. How can we as a society reclaim the importance of the elders' wisdom and how do we as the elders understand and respectfully convey what they need to hear.
